return visa for germany

Getting a Return Visa

Return visa is issued at Delhi. For the return visa Get the police clearance certificate from your locality because you never know when the FRRO people might ask for it. And also get departure from the same on your RC. On reaching Delhi get the supporting letter from Bureau office. Try to reach the bureau office early and then straight away head to Jaisalmer house, Man singh road before 11.30, as they stop taking request after 12. The officer in bureau office will give the address so finding Jaisalmer house will not be a big problem. Keep a copy of all the documents that you are submitting for visa and few extra passport photo. Ask for the token number as soon as you reach there at jaisalmer house and wait for your token number to be announced. Once token number announced they will pre check your documents and sent you to another building close by i.e on first floor. A receptionist is there for the forms. You will need to fill the form twice and
attach the documents that was verified earlier and submit it to the receptionist. Please be very patient as it could take upto 5 pm. But do not leave before you speak to the officer who will verify your documents again and tell you what time to come. When you later go back to the office at the advised time they will give you an envelope which is not supposed to be opened. ON the envelope they have mentioned the address of the office ( FRRO) you need to go next. People normally go early to the FRRO office but I went only at ten and it was ok as the officer inside will try to finish only at 5 pm and that too if you request stating that you have a flight booked or any other emergency and there are every chance that they will ask you to come tomorrow. The queue you need to be in is the receptions queue. (Don’t go by what you have read in Jaisalmer office on the first floor. On the notice board they have mentioned different counter for different
country.) There are two queues, one for the Afghan people and the other for all the other countries. Once reaching the receptions you need to give the envelope unopened and they will give you a form to fill and you will need to paste a photo on the form. Take with you a glue stick as it comes very handy. Ask the receptionist that you want to get arrival also and it normally does not take long. Once you fill the form submit it to the same receptionist and they will give you a token number and the counter number. Go to the counter and wait for your name to be called out or the counter number to be called out. After verifying at the counter they will give you the submitted forms to be signed by the incharge and the incharge there will sign and ask you to give it to the receptionist. And the receptionist will tell you when to come. It is advisable to wait till 6 as they normally are free around 5 and they close at 6.
